The vets on this thread know _exactly_ what is happening, and roughly when it was going to happen and when it will happen.
We have not panicked, we have prepared.
The problem is, this does not scale well.
Imagine the toilet paper fiasco for every item in Walmart.
(Prep tip: More of everything is good—if you don’t need it, you can use it to barter with your neighbors. For late preppers that means if product A is out, just buy more of product B that you really don’t need. The perfect is the enemy of the good.)
I know what you mean but it works well in my rather poor rural area. The most hard-working ‘welfare mothers’ are the ones who do it.
Others are too stoned or whatever.
If you have a yard, order seeds.
Save all your newspaper, boxes, raked leaves, grass clippings.etc. You don’t need a tiller. Look up ‘lasagna gardening’.
Most things just need full sun and occasional rain or watering.
Good Lord.
Can you imagine what might happen when the illegal drug supply is messed with?
My husband just gave me the “you can’t put anything else in the freezer” speech. I used every inch of it...

There is no evidence of this. Since some early cases where people relapsed and a few died, people are now monitored for several weeks after recovery. These were not reinfections but relapses, virus that was still present ni the body after “recovery”. As long as the relapse is caught before a severe reaction and organ damage, you recover. There are no confirmed cases of “reinfection”, and no virologists or experts are supporting the “no immunity” hype. For people with a compromised immune system, obviously reinfection is a threat. “

In Wuhan they gave a speech and said everything was under control. The next next day they put them in quarantine and blocked the roads.
I told hubby that things would get busy, at the grocery stores, after POTUS’ message.
Everything _was_ under control.
The quarantine prep plans were on schedule!
Heading out to one is putting food on the table. Heading out for another means PaRtY TiMe!
