I went looking for aticles for ones like this today because of something Pence said in today's White House release re CoronaVirus. Pence referred to the "citizens of CA".

A day or two after Trump created an Economic Advisory panel, AG Becerra created his. Looking at CA AG's webiste - Becerra continues to sue the US government while functioning as the head of a 20 state AG "coalition".

I do wonder how far Newsom and Becerra have taken/are taking this - and if Pence's "citizens of CA" is courtesy or a marker for underlying conflict.

Seeing the lawsuits of Becerra's "coalition", I can say that the tax payers are paying for both sides of the coalition's litigation, whether they want to or not. This tax payer funded litigation helps fuel Newsom's aspirations to nationhood and labors to slow down or impede President Trump's vision for our nation.

Oh good. Let's make San Francisco.

This plan might run into some problems though.

Since apparently sane California has launched a plan to secede from insane California.

So good luck to the former mayor of San Francisco with turning the whole state into a nightmare.

OK then, so what’s the downside?

If they break off to their own country - and take their electoral votes with them - there wouldn’t be another Democrat elected to the White House for decades!

Plus, a lot of the entertainment types that make their home in NYC would flee to their utopian dream state, diminishing the grip the Dems have held on NY State for the better part of my life.

Good. A reason to send in the Marines.

That’s fine. Immediately halt all U.S. spending in California. Remove all military personnel and close bases, fire all federal employees in CA and close all the federal courts in CA. Remove all elected CA House members and senators from the U.S. Congress. Not one penny spent on CA.

Allow one year for CA residents to move out and still maintain their U.S. citizenship. See how fast the U.S. recovers and thrives and how fast the Nation of California collapses.

So begins the first secessionist movement since 1865.

I wonder if Newsom has enough ammunition and blood ?

“he proposes that California offer its own health-insurance subsidies to families earning up to $150,000.”

Pity those poor Californian families scrapping by on $120,000/year.

I think the CA surplus just went up in smoke with the stock market. They are hugely dependent on capital gains from stock sales.

Oregon is OK with this, as long as we can build a wall on our southern border.

Great! Give the fu**er back to Mexico! Take those 54 electoral votes with you and give free transport to there for anyone wanting it. Then change the wall design to a) 50 feet high and with a slippery slide and b) where it goes. open the California border with Mexico and shut it with the eastern border.

Then come up with the U.S. Doctrine that any Chinese or Russian military troops will mean nuking the thing.

If California wants electricity, water, internet, etc. it had better stop this nonsense. I would be very easy for the feds and the US military to quarantine shut down the state.

Also, California is essentially 3 very vulnerable cities: San Franciso, Los Angeles, and San Diego which will be extremely easy to cordon off and embargo.

Move every rat politician and voter to Antarctica. Give them a real taste for the "paradise" they create.

Ensure that not one of them can change their mind to corrupt another state with their insanity.

Maybe they should have an exchange of populations like that between Greece and Turkey in the 1920s (Greeks in Turkey moved to Greece and Muslims in Greece moved to Turkey). Californians with American values can leave California and people with California values in other states can move to California.
