The bigger lesson to be learned is the following.
No matter how much the deep state is able to depress the economy, Trump will have more voters by far than he had in 2016.
In fact, if the economy is bad on election day, it might bring him still more votes because he’s the only one who’s shown he can fix the economy. Even the democrat voters know this.
Take this as a warning: be careful what you wish for when you target the economy.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

There's a common theme: Every government that is being successful does not downplay the danger. They are straight with their citizens and institute measures that make sense after they are straight with their citizens.
Doesn't bode well for the United States...
