The bigger lesson to be learned is the following.

No matter how much the deep state is able to depress the economy, Trump will have more voters by far than he had in 2016.

In fact, if the economy is bad on election day, it might bring him still more votes because he’s the only one who’s shown he can fix the economy. Even the democrat voters know this.

Take this as a warning: be careful what you wish for when you target the economy.

Take away the media narrative, and nobody would notice anything different about their lives.

I would say that NOT relying on a bureaucratic organization like WHO probably forced Taiwan to rely on her own scientific ingenuity ( of which the island has plenty of ) to control the virus.

The lesson here is clear — don’t put your reliance on a centralized bureaucracy far away from you to protect yourself.
