Consider this: the survival rates are based on hospitals with avaialble ICU units with respirators.

After those are filled up? Then what? Death to the newly arriving patients or they yank respirators for those over a certain age or pre-existing conditions?

Then our major cities. China locked down Wuhan - city with 15 million - and enforced it. Arrests, prison, beatings, executions.

What happens in ...

New York

Chicago

Los Angeles

Detroit

Atlanta

Those folks going to just stay in their homes and apartments?

Riots and social unrest. Purge 2020.

The preppers got it right. Major cities = death traps when the SHTF.

and..if somebody gets shot in a gang incident in the big city...no emergency room availability—even the most minor gunshot wounds become a _big_ _deal_.

Impossible to get shot in a big city. They are all gun-free zones.

Do I really need a sarcasm tag?

I took some frozen veggies out today and started dehydrating them. Gross food is gross, wet or dry. At least I have room for more red meat.

I’m doing the same with all my blueberries and the rest of my broccoli.

Not as great in a stirfry (the broccoli) but I can use it in soup.

Also fresh stuff (onions, carrots, etc)
