be careful with garlic though- I developed an allergy to it and now can’t even have a tiny amount- I used to eat raw cloves of it, garlic bread, garlic butter etc-
Now if i have even a small amount- i get al shaky, sweaty, dizzy- feel sick to stomach, and feel rotten for a few days afterwards- so don’t over do it with the garlic like i did- i used to be one of those folks that said ‘if a little is good for you, a lot must be better’ (Provided there was no warnings like for medicines that state not to take too much of course- Back when I was under the m istaken impression herbs and ‘natural stuff’ was safe- Yep- i wasn’t too bright back then)
elderberry jam and jelly is delicious- don’t know if it woudl be effective because it’s been cooked down, but anyways- love the jelly
I got the last bottle of Vit C at our grocery store. It’s gummies but better than nothing.
Our dog is getting old and he was going down fast after a surgery several months ago. The vet (who messed up the surgery) wasn’t helpful so I’ve been giving him Vit C, turmeric, fish oil, joint meds and yogurt for about two months. He’s made a great turn around and loves the mixture. A full hair regrowth, no more sagging eye lids, a bit of improvement in his hips and he’s perked up. He won’t touch the gummies so those are mine and he gets the pill form.
Vit C won’t necessarily prevent an illness, except scurvy, but it certainly helps to send it on it’s way. It repairs and protects cells. It helps slow down macular degeneration and heart problems. CV attacks the heart so if one can stave off a heart attack even for a day, Vit C might get you over the hump.
200 mg is a low dose, designed and guaranteed to fail. Linus Pauling was recommending 2,000 to 10,000 mg daily.
I'd rather be dead. No garlic?
Yes.
Awww, I do not believe this person. Vitamin C works.
One source suggested 6 grams a day as optimum. The C acted in a synergistic fashion with thiamine supplementation.
I saw an article that said this particular write up was fake. Not sure what to believe at this point.
Griffithsex from red algae perhaps...(or Ovaltine)
D.Tn. Well, I’m not invested in this story. I was just aware of the link. If you have reason to believe it was not true let’s ask the mods to delete it.
Three Intravenous Vitamin C Research Studies Approved for Treating COVID-19
i know- i absolutely love garlic too-
I don’t know whether it’s fake or not. I wouldn’t go by an internet post claiming it’s fake.
I’m just saying it needs to be independently verified.
Vitamin C has long been known to boost immune system, so I’m inclined to believe it helps.
John Bachelor [radio] had Gordon Chang on last night; There’s a lot of suspicious stuff going on w/ China, since the outbreak.

Sex with Melanie Griffith? Yeah! I’ll take the treatment!..............
Well there we go!
I had the mods delete it (Just as well since the links go to stories written in Mandarin. (I think...))
