Using my VXX call profits and rolling the right into Gold.
Tempted to buy gold.
Looking when to buy Baltic Dry Index, and airlines. (”Buy when there’s blood in the streets”).
Any other ideas for unjustly-battered stocks or sectors, let me know.

I am a value investor. I like to have a PE of less than 15. Low Debt to Equity. Good Cash reserves. A plus if price is below book value.

In 2007, I got some unexpected cash and went searching for a stock to buy. I could not find one single stock that met my standards. And all were frankly overpriced. So in Dec. 2007 I liquidated half of my holdings and waited.

At the end of 2008, I was buying-picked up Ford @ 3 bucks a share. Some regional bank stocks. Didn’t have time to do much, because I was stuck at the hospital with my Dad, and had to borrow a computer to do that.

Once a stock doubles in value, I often sell half-that’s the return of principle to invest in something else and let the rest ride.

IN before wall street asks you to marry them.
The Capesize Index has, alas! stopped trading, it was down 95%...
