I said something like this in a thread a few days ago. What happens when it gets all over everything, and our money and mail is infected.

I was told that I am hysterical for asking that.

If it can survive on surfaces for periods of time, then it can survive on money and mail, maybe gas pumps, door handles. Who knows. China sucks.

I read they’re giving US money a ‘timeout’ when we ‘repatriate’ it from Asia.

Like a 14 day timeout.

Another smart freeper suggested to use an iron. Probably a woman, as I know none of us guys would have figured that out!

Have used a 2 % bleach solution and sprayed US bills with it. Drenched. Wait 5 minutes. Flip over and repeat. Use garage floor. Hang to dry over night. They handled the 2 % bleach fine. Or just put the money in a bag and let sit for two weeks.

Switch your bills to electronic. Use your phone for payments, you won’t have to touch stuff.

I guess you cold put it in a box for two weeks. I am sure my mortgage company will understand.
