On January 24, COVID-19 testing (by quarantine) was started on January 24, 2019. Michigan is home to several international airports with Detroit being a major-hub city for Delta. International flights have been departing and arriving with appropriate referrals of passengers.
Still, no COVID-19.
There a several urban pockets of influenza outbreaks. Those appear to have peaked in early January.
