The second patient is an adult woman from Charleston County who recently traveled to France and Italy. She did not require hospitalization and is self-isolated at home, DHEC officials said
Great lady on 2020—explaining that public officials are causing panic by not admitting they don’t know what they don’t know.
We did ‘cane preps too.
Mostly.
Got the batteries yesterday in fact. Debated about it but did anyways.
Going to do a generator test run this weekend. Just in case we have storms that knock out power and it isn’t back on in a timely manner for one reason or another.
People just dont know how to prep.

Elderly people could be confined to their homes next week as the government ramps up its response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Ministers are expected to advise people to visit elderly relatives as soon as possible before ‘social distancing’ policies are introduced in which British pensioners could be warned to stay at home and will likely be told to avoid crowded areas.
Such measures could also include banning concerts and closing schools in a bid to stop the killer disease exploding across the country.
The drastic measures are expected to be introduced as the Government continues with its four-stage plan to deal with a mass outbreak of the bug as the number of confirmed cases rockets across the country

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Hawaii resident who traveled on a cruise ship thats been linked to more than two dozen coronavirus cases has tested positive for the virus, the governor said.
That’s smart! I’m going to have to remember that.
Gas station handles always squicked me anyways. But I’m a germphobe in the best of circumstances.
We need a list of ‘great ideas’.
Yup—I agree with Mike—on all points.
I think the Feds will panic in early April.
The clearly ‘young enough to need them’ females without those important female items was...well...it will be a learning experience for them. They won’t forget those again.
from your link:
the patient started the cruise Feb. 11 in San Francisco and got off in Mexico rather than returning to California.
The patient then flew back to Honolulu and started to feel sick.
another bad seed?

FOX 32 Chicago
CHICAGO — A special education classroom assistant with Chicago Public Schools has presumptively tested positive for coronavirus, city officials announced Friday night.
The infected CPS employee, who is a woman in her 50s and now the 6th coronavirus patient in Illinois, works at Vaughn High School in Portage Park. Classes next week have been canceled, city officials said.
Officials are working to find out whom the employee came in contact with after returning from a cruise in California in late February. The last time she was at work for CPS was March 2, officials said.
Also on Friday, the fifth confirmed coronavirus patient in Illinois was discharged from the hospital and allowed to go home to quarantine.
