Yes. The CDC is useless.
CA
LA County health officials have confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 14.
The additional positive case is a resident who recently returned from attending the AIPAC Conference in Washington, D.C. where there was a known exposure to a person who was positive for COVID-1, officials from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said.

BREAKING: “The American Conservative Union has learned that one of our CPAC attendees has unfortunately tested positive today for coronavirus.
LA Marathon tomorrow—fun fun fun!
Don’t forget a bag of osmocote or some other fertilizer. Most suburban soils are dodgy at best.
Ditto soap insecticidal spray (or spray of your choice).
And garden lime if your soil is acidic.
And Trump was there.
:(
Tits on a boar hog they are.
We treat our military with the highest respect because they stand between us and danger. Well, in an epidemic, thats exactly what our healthcare providers do. They are the front lines.
Not giving them the proper PPE and not attempting to slow the spread with quarantines and travel restrictions is like Obama giving troops rubber buckets. Its just wrong.
Coronavirus Shoppers Brawl Over Toilet Paper, Police Advise Public This Isnt Thunderdome
Fears surrounding the spread of coronavirus have been mounting almost exponentially over the last few weeks, with major event cancellations, changes to how business is done, and even a run on some supplies from stores such as hand sanitizer and hand soap, toilet paper, and more.
In Sydney, Australia, those fears, and a limit on purchases, resulted in a drug store brawl over toilet paper, and eventually a warning from police to the public about getting perspective.
There it is—CPAC.
Think air vents.

Do we have sirens in this thread?
omg
*that should read rubber bullets
Nah, stick around.
We’re all on edge right now and I will admit personally to being highly bitchy today.
Allow me to apologize in advance.
Exactly. I will be stealing that. Lol.

Over 19,000 people attended CPAC last year, and 2020 also had a similar crowd.
Everyone that was at CPAC needs to be tested.
Now.
No excuses.
Just now!
Air vents.
The President, VP et al need to be tested now!
They need to tell the “no aerosol bro” CDC to go f&^% themselves and do the f&^%ing tests—now.
Awww geeez...
So, it’s in D.C. and Maryland now. The announcement on Twitter says this person was in contact with POTUS or VPOTUS, nor in the event main hall.

Just got off the phone with
@mschlapp
who found out a couple hours ago. He is very calm: “I know the person. I feel bad for him. You don’t want any of your friends to ever get sick. But I’m certainly not alarmed.”
the WW2 mentality was demonstrated by the doctors, who told the CDC to bugger off, they were testing anyway with their own tests.
The CDC screwed up royal on the test kits. But, otoh, given American nature vis a vis The Great TP Rush, had they announced widespread availability, 300million would have rushed the hospitals demanding a test whether they had a cold or not. So we would need 720million just to open the door on testing - all useless.
And then, we have a CDC relying on WHO for guidance, and the same test eligibility criteria that worked so well in China. /s. And about as CCP-tunnelvisioned as you can possibly get. Not to mention the little darlings that sent test kits to the wrong state, or the other darlings that contaminated a reagent in the kit, or the insistence of the arrogant little darlings at CDC that they knew how to make a test kit better than anyone else, even if it couldn’t be run on any body else’s equipment.
I’ll get around to making a better timeline sooner or later)
Jan 28 = WHO tells US no need to evacuate citizens from Wuhan - all is under control
Jan 31 - China ambassador to US says no need to overreact
Feb 2 - Schools told no special disinfecting needed
Feb 3 - WHO says no need to limit int’l travel
Feb 10 - WHO says no need for masks but we’ll take US $675MM to wipe out the disease in China ( but send a lot of masks to China please, where they are beaten and thrown in prison for not wearing one)
Feb 22 - WHO says window to contain is narrowing but cases outside China ‘relatively small’ while begging for praise for China
Feb 24 - Trump ups the $675MM to $2B for relief and CDC - Schumer/Pelosi throw a fit it’s not enough but take a week to write a bill
Feb 28 - WHO says not a pandemic but ‘localized outbreaks’
Feb 28 - WHO says ‘we can control it” (in Nigeria I suppose)
Mar 6 - Trump signs a $8B bill for relief/CDC
and here we are today, March 7, with test kits apparently pulled out of thin air and 93 labs miraculously set to run tests.
new jersey school guidance - from late Jan:

The WH needs to focus.
Test now.
