Well we already know that this virus effects people in different ways. Some people don’t have many symptoms, and yet others feel so bad that they die. So a sample of one guy telling his story does not mean much. And we still don’t know much about the long term effects of this virus.
The Coronavirus has now morphed into being a disease?
Men get it slightly more than women but that doesn’t really account for husband but not wife

I agree.
You need to hydrate to thin the mucus, or it will build up and cause pulse-ox problems.
Good general advice to drink slightly salty fluids with calories, when sick. Chicken soup is good if you have it, as it also provides fats, some vitamins, and some protein. :)
They have to tread lightly if they are going to blame Trump, because this virus actually vindicates Trumps positions on a lot of things.
It likely doesn’t apply well in that situation, but for whatever reason, men appear to be about 60 more likely to get it than women.
It likely doesn’t apply well in that situation, but for whatever reason, men appear to be about 60% more likely to die from it than women at least in China. Smoking is as good an answer as any right now.
Flu dehydrates pretty quickly. I had it earlier this week and I dehydrated in a big hurry. I couldn't believe how quickly it happened.
The electrolytes in Gatorade help rehydration. Gatorade by itself contains sodium which you don't really want when you're trying to rehydrate. I often dilute Gatorade 1:1 with water.
Also best to use sugar free Gatorade since upset stomach's don't tolerate sugar very well.
Oral vitamin D3 + K2.
“Oral vitamin D3 + K2.”
Yes, good for many things, esp to promote immune response. Take all year round and monitor blood levels. IV-c though, needs to be taken in high doses for several days to knock out infection. Without C, I had read D3 alone could provoke an immune response which could fill passages with mucous?
Having read anecdotal comments around various social media about how men are noticing “so many people in the men’s room are washing their hands that we have to wait for sinks”,
I think the problem is that men apparently are really really bad at hygiene. I personally am have a problem with my hands feeling “dirty”, so I tend to wash a lot more than probably the average person, because I also tend to stick my hands into dirty situations a lot. But I noticed a LOT of guys who don’t go near a sink after using the bathroom.
Hadn’t heard that. But there are a good many side effects to taking mega amounts of D and D3 without the K2. In fact, I stopped taking D3 and only take the K2 because my usual multi-vitamin provides more than enough daily D3. But the C makes sense because it enhances calcium absorbtion while the K2 gets it to the right places in the body.
Good to hear that others understand the benefits
