In the US, this is peak Spring Break season for colleges. Students are going to go out and about - and then come back to school.
We have a Kent address; people around here are pissed off about it. Probably 95% of other motels in the area are set up the same way. The problem area has been 20 miles North. My wife was trying to explain to others yesterday that unless people were in close proximity to someone infected, that it didn’t matter much whether the facility chosen was 20 miles away or right next door.
I just got back from the grocery store. The other day there was a run on the place. Today its completely stocked and about half as full as it usually is. Someone had wiped down the cart I was using with some type of lotion type disinfectant and that was
My local stores have been fully stocked but I have not gone to the big Costco at the Aurora Village so don’t know if that is one of the ones that everyone is talking about.

Sacramento County Health Department (California) has ordered skilled nursing facilities to start quarantining vulnerable patients to protect them from this disease.
This from a friend in Sacto who was told today she can’t visit her grandfather because of the order.
We both agree it’s a good decision!

Lazy people. All it takes is one infection and you have Italy. Although there may have been two initial vectors there. DO YOUR JOBS.
Tried quarantine my Mom got an ear full..
If they can mass produce the tests and get the test cost way down—hopefully you would be able to ask to be tested and cleared to visit—but that may be a while...

Update: ‘Presumptive positive’ COVID-19 patient in critical condition in Wenatchee
On the Washington state DOH website they are listing one confirmed case in Grant Co. Grant Co. says they are testing four additional people. Grant Co. is in the center of the state, quite a ways from King Co.
