Sacramento County Health Department (California) has ordered skilled nursing facilities to start quarantining vulnerable patients to protect them from this disease.
This from a friend in Sacto who was told today she can’t visit her grandfather because of the order.
We both agree it’s a good decision!

If they can mass produce the tests and get the test cost way down—hopefully you would be able to ask to be tested and cleared to visit—but that may be a while...

That would have been a problem for my mother and I; she lived in a similar independent living apartment and I visited daily, sometimes twice, to administer her medication .
