When you have a bunch of military age men with very few women coming over your border, that is an army.

And yes, a national boundary is the same as a home. It is home to a certain group of people and others may only enter by invitation. Which this invading hoard did not have.

There are ways to rid illegals humanely. It just takes national will.

Shooting them as they come IS humane. It makes the rest stop. Being a wimp about it just means a longer and more protracted action that will end up with more people dead. Some of them on your side. And that is the side that normal military people want to have reduced, not expanded casualties.
