The original case they did track the guy’s movements and his “close” contacts. I hope by now they realize it can transmit even without being “close”.
The CDC is sending a team to Washington state, which I presume in part is to do tracking of the recent cases and who the people may have come in contact with.
On the original guy, I read an article where the doctor that admitted him notified the CDC, but when informed it would take the CDC a couple of days to get there, the doctor took it upon themselves to question the patient and had his own team start contacting friends, relatives and others to notify them and put then on stay-at-home restrictions and to monitor them.
Well at least the Dr. had some sense.

I agree and that has concerned me from the beginning. The CDC keeps saying it spreads like the flu but tracking it this last month it appears to spread much more easily, as several have theorized aerosolized versus airborne.
Thankfully, that doctor was smarter than the average bear or the hospital would have a mess on its hands.
