At my Wally, pain medicine, particularly Advil was nearly gone early Saturday morning. They were restocking a lot of stuff, so I suspect they would have restocked those meds first...if they had any.
Speaking of, it’s snake season again. The kitties have been bringing in live baby wigglies the past few days. It’s 10 am and they brought in the second one of the day already. To keep them safe for later, the cats put them in hubby’s shoes, the dog’s bowl or the best place is under my desk where my bare feet are right now.
An FYI for anyone who has kids/gkids. IF you have the coin, you might want to grab some appropriate toys. Those should have been manufactured now so they could be on the boats this summer and in stores for Christmas this fall/winter.
That may, or may not, happen at this point.

Limited, huh. The plane, the plane’s toilet, the baggage, all through the airport and another potty stop and maybe food. The shuttle to his vehicle or a taxi home. Then his family. That’s the very least.
Now, for the other airlines around the world to stop flights to Italy.
Stopping all flights everywhere for 2 weeks would sure slow this thing down. Like that’ll ever happen.

I got 2 bottles of lysol. The concentrate in the little brown hourglass shaped bottles. Can make a LOT of lysol ‘regular use’ with that and from there with papertowels make a lot of wipes on our own.
Snake #3 just got delivered. They must have found a nest.

1) Doesn't "aerosolized" imply it *is* airborne?
2) What is considered a space distance away from an infected person for airborne vs aerosolized?

I’m so upset right now. So, my twenty-something son does contract work in a hospital in Atlanta and he is there every day. So far he has taken CV very seriously, and he has stocked up. However, he approached his boss about masks for him and his crew working at the hospital, and his boss (who is a great, conservative guy whom my son really respects) basically said that CV was a hoax perpetuated by the CDC to bring down President Trump. So now my son thinks it’s all fake.
The virus-hoaxers have literally put my son at higher risk. It amazes me that the people say the CDC is inciting panic when the CDC and WHO said up until last week that it was not a big deal. It has spread in the US BECAUSE the CDC played it down and would not listen to scientists. Other western countries are furious with their CDC affiliates for the same thing. They still won’t admit aspects of it like asymptomatic spread. Their incompetence (or worse) is the reason it’s likely out of control now.
So thank you all the people who refuse to read any of the news tracking the worldwide spread and impact, the epidemiology reports, and the research being done by doctors around the world. Thank you for believing the CDC when they had their head in the sand, and now disbelieving them when they are finally owning up to the seriousness, because VP Pence made them.
This virus is bad enough, and now it’s being weaponized against the President. Now we have to deal with virus-hoaxers putting other conservatives at risk. I’m sure liberals are watching and cheering the, on. They would love nothing more than to see all this elderly (50+) Trump voters wiped out.
I think that “OK, Dittohead” is more appropriate in this case.
Are you in Kook County? If not, just avoid all of Kook County. Just do your shopping, eating out, etc. elsewhere.
Not surprising. Some people don’t wash their hands after taking a dump. It might be how I got C. Dif, by simply shaking the hand of one of these idiots, then eating some food.
