Oh. Look for the articles where China blames the US for making the disease. They point out how exactly it was made for them by the US in those claims.
They know the exact details because they made it. Too bad it was an "own goal" on debut. Worse, that it spreads easily and will visit the entire globe before it burns out...if it burns out.
The Chinese of course forgot the part about them funding the work with a grant and all. Bought it. Gave it. Funded it. Took it. What difference does it make now.
