I never did care for MREs myself. After living on them for a week I can understand why our Army friends referred to them as Meals Rejected by Ethiopians.

I keep my father's P-38 can opener on my key ring in case I stumble over any C-rations that need to be opened.

what good are cans of beans, tuna, soups, etc. if you get gangrene from stabbing a can with scissors?

Enjoyed all your comments about MREs. LOL I may need to get one of those P-38 openers to add to my already heavy keychain.

Doesn’t have many keys-but lots of gadgets. LOL
