MREs; The hungrier you are the better they taste!

But look at you Lady going gourmet at Walmart!! :)

I bought some boxes of MREs. Ate them at lunch at work. Cheaper than the cafeteria. $1.50 to $2.50 each!

When I got tired of eating, which wasn’t too long, I kept a few in my glove compartment and gave them to the people begging at stoplights. (Oh, you’re hungry? Have an MRE!) I didn’t even ask to see their sharpie!)

I never did care for MREs myself. After living on them for a week I can understand why our Army friends referred to them as Meals Rejected by Ethiopians.

I keep my father's P-38 can opener on my key ring in case I stumble over any C-rations that need to be opened.
