I suspect that will be the case. If this proves to be a retrovirus, then the DNA copy is intra-cellular. The antivirals are just stunting the replicase/protease generation to keep viral replication at bay.
Based on recent reports, this corona virus can act on lungs, heart, kidney. Virus is found in the gastrointestinal tract and excreted in feces. Multiple paths out of the host to other prospective victims.
I agree. Just got back from a trip to Columbus, OH. Flew Southwest. Plenty of people in Atlanta airport coughing. Plenty on the plane coughing.
I found myself holding my breath as oriental folks walked by. Not that it would do much good.
Side note. I do not feel well now, hopefully just a cold. Headache, sinus drainage and inklings of chest congestion. This was a quick trip and I am on day 4 from when I took off. Plenty of sick people flying and even with that it’s more likely the same cold my daughter has been fighting for a while now. Went to the doctor for her, turned out to be an ear infection initially. Antibiotics and drops for ear but I think her immune system was weakened and she picked up a nasty bug. Now it appears I have that same bug.

Those at the top of the evil pyramid seem to have nine lives at any rate. My money is on an accidental release by the Chinese developers, that may have been intentionally done by an deeper global cabal. At any rate, the perfect place to release the agent. Multiple cut outs. This is actually an ideal weapon for China to use on Taiwan. Send an infected traveller to a major event, then cut off all travel between island and mainland. Wait one year. Send in a cleanup crew. Unfortunately for China, another deep state cabal may have had other uses.
If there were multiple people coughing on your plane then you probably caught whatever they had. I once rode a greyhound and there was one guy with a flu talking in his phone loudly for 15 minutes. Got it 4 days later. Nasty one too.

If you have a “bug” that gets out and you have no way to control it, the last ditch effort is to drop it in places you don’t want coming after you in a weakened state.
If this was a bio weapon without a cure, AND the Chinese have covered up massive deaths (100k+) AND they are afraid, you will see it in the US, England, Russia, and Germany in larger numbers. If you apply “critical” percentages to either you get 3/10 for the first one, 4/10 for the second, and 5/10 for the the third.
.3*.4*.5 and you get a probability of .06. So, even under generous conditions the theory is pretty unlikely.
