This is a grand jury not some oped by a supposedly conservative.

It appears that this pos liar has 6 felony charges against him.

Interesting re the timing, post faux impeachment.

Hopefully, besides jail time, he WILL be made to repay the Chicago police Department for all of the money they wasted on his damned HOAX of a “case” !

So I guess Jussie won’t be the new Subway spokesman?

What I’d really like to know is who pulled the strings to get him out of the first go ‘round. Michelle was certainly in the mix.

What ever happened to the previous prosecutor who declined to file charges? I think her name was Foxx.

Jussie's attorney, Tina Glandian, is also questioning the timing of the indictment, saying, "the attempt to re-prosecute Mr. Smollett one year later on the eve of the Cook County State's Attorney election is clearly all about politics not justice."

Never let a moment go by without demonstrating outlandish hubris and yet more allegations of racism.

Hmm... original headlines (and this story) say “disorderly conduct”. I thought those would be misdemeanors.

This has turned into a really great daY.

-Three deep state lawyers from Dept of Justice (sic) flushed out.

-Trump puts kybosh on deep stater judge Jessie Liu

-Flushed the Natl Sec Council toilet on numerous Obama saboteurs

-Now this fraudulent, race-baiting klown indicted.

Hopefully there will be a trial and not a plea, so that interesting questions can be asked about how it all came about, and whether Jussie thought this up himself or if he was encouraged by our elite betters.

Smollett is STUPID. And his attorney(s) is/are BEYOND stupid. Foxx, or whoever, threw him a bone last year with the 130K thing that now appears to have been — at least on their part — pure genius. Reimburses the cops for the investigation, shows they aren’t letting him off (even though they are), and more or less made things go away about as quickly as possible. So what does he do? Puts his middle finger back in their face and says screw you; no way I’m paying.

Had he paid, he would definitely had a sound double jeopardy argument now. As it stands, he is almost certainly going to do some jail time. He probably could have negotiated that 130K down a little, too.
