Milena Basso and her husband Gaetano Cerullo are trapped on the quarantined Diamond Princess off the coast of Japan, with at least 64 cases of the killer virus confirmed on board.
The couple said the situation on the ship is desperate with food and water running out and the disease spreading through the 2,000 trapped passengers.
New cases are being confirmed every day, and the American newlyweds say they still have two weeks to wait before they can leave.
Cerullo told Fox News: We are kind of worried because we've still got two weeks on here assuming that works out in our favor and we still have to get onto American soil.
And, if Donald Trump could help us in any way...

start helicopter drops of food and water...and medicine.
what a hellish situation
Your comment reminded me that the Brit couple said the cruise company is going to fill prescriptions for the passengers at no charge.
You pays your moneys, you takes your chances.
I can afford to go on as many cruises as I want and have been on several. I don't like being cooped up with all those people and being herded around like cattle. If that's your cup of tea, good for you.
I have clients heading to Vietnam for a wedding. You know one of those days long Vietnam weddings. I suspect my services for their cats will jump from this 10 wedding event to a month long pet service.
She was showing me her n100 mask, she’s a microbiologist. I reminded her prior to starting my business I was an EHS and Hazardous Materials specialist and manager. I told her from a risk assessment standpoint I wouldn’t be going anywhere near Asia. Best friend wedding or not...the wedding can be postponed for the safety of everyone.
I haven’t processed her credit card yet. I will once they leave though.
Like the POTUS is supposed to personally get people off a quarantined ship?
Kinda implies people are getting infected from surfaces on the ship, infecting others, yada yada
I read the original infected passenger wasnt even on the ship when others started getting infected
“To be fair, they didnt think coronavirus was going be an issue when they went to honeymoon.”
that is true-they were far more likely to have contracted norovirus-it is common knowledge that happens all the time on cruise ships-there is one floating around with it now, according to the news on TV and the internet...
It is best to stay away from the cruise ships = Klingon prison ships...
Duhh, how did we come to know about this situation then?? Huh?? They couldn't get what they wanted from the cruise line or the authorities so they called the media to whine to them. And the cruise line is telling reporters that they are seeing to their needs and food situation. Are you saying that the cruise line is lying to the public? If so them why are they the two young gen Xr's the only ones crying about it then?
“I told her from a risk assessment standpoint I wouldnt be going anywhere near Asia.”
Especially regarding a person (Asian) who probably has that ACE2 viral receptor adaptation.
I am trying to convince a Filipina to not visit who home country this year. At least I have got her to postpone until September.
Yeah...her normalcy bias was off the charts.
I would hope to think that this American couple getting married back in their home country of Vietnam would have some commonsense, it’s a wedding. You’ve been living together in the United States for how long? Like really...this wedding is soooo important you put your lives and all your guests in danger?
“normalcy bias”
Very applicable description of certain persons and their inertial reaction to an approaching emergent situation. Kind of opposite to “Sky is falling” syndrome, of which I have to be careful to not succumb.
It is my cup of tea. I get some BOOK reading done.
You are correct......it’s crazy to go thru with it. I would think the people trave9 would cancel.
Traveling
That is what the American couple is getting too, but he complained about the movies and said he didnt want to go on the balcony, it was too cold!
Note to self: never ever get on one of those stupid boats
Not really, but every once in a while you get one! ;)
