I posted before I saw your other post. I looked at the various brands of haggis sold on Amazon, and my guess is that they don’t contain lung if they’re allowed to be imported. (I wouldn’t bet against lungers, though.)
Is Puffer really worth the risk?
Kinder Surprise Eggs can be found at Walgreens. My grandson gets them. There was one in my Christmas stocking. Besides the obvious hazard of choking on the toy, or breaking a tooth, theres too much packaging.
We ate horse in the sixties and seventies. It’s not bad really, it just doesn’t have enough fat content to flavor the meat properly.
The baby is on the outside when purchased and the buyer can stick it in if they choose. Otherwise it’s an open invitation for lawsuits.
“You can buy haggis at Amazon”
The ingredients list sticks to heart and liver meat, NO lungs which is why it can be bought. So is it even true Haggis?
My Father grew up eating and loving things like “hog’s head cheese”, raccoon, etc. We never had Haggis but I bet he would have loved it.
As soon as they get the Senate back, or Bloomberg wins the Whitehouse.
Probably because it would have to be picked green so as not to spoil before it got to market in the US.
Canned is probably better anyway as it is canned when ripe from the tree rather then having to ripen after being picked.
How come “impossible burgers” are not on the list? Made the horrible mistake and let one of my great granddaughters talk me into trying one... Spit out first mouthful... 3-hours to get the awful taste out of my mouth...
Reminded me of one of those 1950’s bad liberty experiences...
I’ve always wondered what it’s like, and why they keep it sort of locked behind a counter, instead of on the shelf. Is it really that wonderful?
They keep it in the same place they keep various medicines, liniments, vitamins, male-enhancement potions; and you have to ask someone to get it for you.
I have seen several people say they can’t tell the difference but my only experience with the all vegetable burger was same as yours.
Maybe some people taste things which others don’t. It does look like meat tho.
Numerous shops in New Orleans sell bottles of absinthe as well as king cakes.
Both can be bought online, as well as the absinthe glasses, decanters, and spoons.
It is not listed as a medicinal plant in my herb book but that does not mean that it is not used in traditional medicine locally.
I’ve had shark fin soup. It’s delicious.
Wilbur would have been too tough.
Maybe it’s just so good that people try to steal it :-)
Exactly. Too tough. You are right about all that.
