.Lo got political during her Super Bowl half time show which featured Latino children in cages who then broke into a rendition of 'Born in the USA' in what appeared to be a swipe at Donald Trump's immigration policies. Both Shakira and J.Lo put their Latina heritage front and center of the show, with the former - who was born in Colombia - taking to the stage shouting 'hola Miami!' before bringing out rapper Bad Bunny who sung in Spanish. But it was J.Lo who made the bigger statement during the latter part of her performance, when the lights rose on children including her own 11-year-old daughter Emme sat in cages - which appeared to reference Trump's hardline immigration policy that has seen children detained after attempting to cross the southern border illegally. Emme began by singing part of her song Let's Get Loud before J.Lo appeared in a giant American flag coat, which had the Puerto Rican flag on the other side.

Ha! I think someone in my party actually said that!
I liked that movie too. But favorite was Selena.
I didn’t like the show because Shakira’s hips lied to me.
JLO is 50 years old. Her lack of a sense of dignity is appalling. Liberals do not age gracefully
What bothers me the most is the lack of gratitude displayed. Shaikira and JLO would be unknown if they stayed where they were born. If they’re so proud of PR or Columbia, what are they doing here?
Jennifer Lopez was born in New York.
When they consider this crap to be no longer effective..what next?
Some with this mind set feel justified to kill cops that didn’t do anything wrong ..because they perceived another cop did something wrong?
I have always hated when singers take liberties with the National Anthem...I’ve always like to hear it sung the original way.....UNTIL I heard this...
You may have heard this before, but Dave Bray, who was with Madison Rising, is a Navy veteran and sings this...
It always fires me up...

Not to dismiss the attack on wholesome morality and decency. Where I and many watch it was in a neighborhood sports bar. There most were involved in conversation and munching the half time snacks and weren’t paying that much attention to the half time wriggling except to speculate and fantasize.
Who cares, I think I got a beer and played darts during their so called show.
Prostitutes/Strippers are not appropriate for half-time shows. Why is it that the low IQ crowd always goes primal and thinks with their genitals?
I was much more impressed with the salute to the American Flag, seemed like the NFL is trying to shed their anti-American antics?
Born in the USA?! How is it that so many dumbasses think that’s a pro America song? Is that the only lyric they hear? I always hated the song and the songster. UPOS! I missed it as well. Lucky me.
From the ‘UK Daily mail’ so that’s likely why PDJT got the credit for the cages. Ungrateful performers should be kissing the ground. Go fight for those folks ‘rights’ in their own country. See how far that gets you.
I’m glad we didn’t watch the SB live, we taped it so we could cut the commercials and crap.
true! when we lived in Syria, the men thought we all knew Madonna. “Oh, you American? You know Madonna??”
They also thought we were up to “fik-fik”
I took it very cynically. They still had on their social justice ads.
I didn't watch it, either. didn't care who won anyway. A co-worker said almost all the vaunted commercials were lame - a bunch of woke BS diversity statements.
No Pepsi for me.
Of course I did not watch the halftime show—Goodell needs to be gone—he _owns_ it!
Another reason to stay at home!
