Now, tinfoil being an accepted mode de chapeau on this thread, what is the possibility that impeachment was a cover for the spread/outbreak of the coronavirus. timelines seem to match with the virus first being seen sometime oct/nov.

Entirely possible. In addition, I observe that it sure solved the Commies protest problem in Hong Kong.
