Go down a few posts to 176 where I cleaned up the duplication. I put my research into my family tree maker file and it throws in masses of tabs which I have to remove and replace with html. Since I tend to spill soda in my keyboard, all keys do not always do the same thing when pressed so the world of typing is always an adventure. Sometimes, a misadventure.

I have no intention to give anyone ideas, but it’s easy enough to imagine the range of nasty things Nancy and her fellows will do on Tuesday. And then what Trump does will be seen as reaction, which is weaker than action. If he defends himself, they will find some way to show how no Dem believes him.
I wish he would come out and rip them to shreds, but if they don’t vote acquittal till the next day, he’s got to hold some of his fire. All of this just makes me want to throw imaginary stemware at the wall.
I’m just speculating here but did President Trump agree to have the vote after the SOU on Tuesday as he is going to go nuclear on them and expects the acquittal will be MORE dems voting for acquittal so it does not appear partisan?

Anything is possible, but it is Washington DC-and it ain’t called the SWAMP for nothing—filled to the top with swamp critters, backstabbers, and alligators.
However, I am sure that POTUS has contingencies planned for best and worst case scenarios and anything in between.
