No, they haven’t said yet. Though according to what I’ve read, SARS could live on an object for 2 hrs to 2 days.

Most viruses can last 24 hours or more on a hard surface.

On clothing was something like 2 to 3 hours.

A tissue paper (Kleenix) was 15 minutes.

On skin it only lasts 5 minutes until our enzymes break it down. (So keep your hands away from your face!)

I would guess that on a piece of paper mail would be similar to clothing - maybe a bit longer?

Freezing doesn’t do anything to a virus. Disinfectant, bleach, etc.
