It’s with a heavy heart I tell you my brother Mark passed last night at 11:30 PM. He never woke up again after the first surgery, nor the emergency surgery the following day to stop the bleeding into his breathing tubes. His poor wife Patti is in complete meltdown mode. Like you Spunky, she doesn’t know what she’s going to do or how she’s going to survive without him. She’s been with him since she was 16, so only 48 years compared to your 61 years. My heart and prayers goes out to you both at this time in your lives. It’s going to be a hard adjustment, but with God’s help in addition to family and friends you will both make it through the worst of it I am positive.

Vipper, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. May Mark be in Heaven with our Lord today, and may he comfort you all today, and every day. I lost my only brother back in 1995 at the age of 51...massive heart attack. The blessing was that my parents were already gone, and didn’t have to go through the heartache. He survived Vietnam, but died far too young. I remain close to his family.
