That's good news Jessi!
The family Super Bowl Party has been men only for years and women in the family have gone along with it 100%. Well, the party moved from one nephew to another because a young baby is in the house of the first nephew. The baby was born several weeks early and they don't won't a house full of germs. Everyone agreed and another with older children is having it. The new party nephew has three children and the middle child was so excited about having the party so invited her young boy friend and his family not knowing is was a guys party. So now the nephew is encouraging ALL women to come and he's fixing a pig for bar-b-q.
Now on the other hand the women aren't thrilled. They want certain men to come at 4:00 in order to organize the pots. So the night would be long if we stayed the entire time. Well, several of us have decided to leave during half time. We are car pooling home and the men will do the same.
The menu will be amazing with so many people bringing their favorites. Homemade peach cobbler, several chili, meatballs, chicken nuggets(kids special),mac and cheese, case of White Castles,...who knows what else. The food will be worth going for if nothing else.LOL
We have crazy weather here. My husband just left to play a round of golf. We're suppose to have up to the 60's today. People actually could have grilled your meat outside today here.
