Thanks. It’s been decades since I read any fiction. I used to read mysteries and Perry Mason type stuff all the time.
Now- Bible, and information be it political or medical or etc. Bible not enough either.
An exceptionally brilliant Scotsman I met downrange a few short years ago advised me to recreate with what he called "brain candy". That's a diversion for the mind. A little fantasy escapism from all the heavy stuff to read.
Brain candy is anything you want it to be. Think of it as a little dessert bite for your head. A sherbet. A comic book, a short story, something light. I found his advice helpful.
