If you have any gas-powered gardening tools, you may be forced to give them up soon.
California is considering a statewide ban on the equipment.
At least 60 cities in California have some kind of ban on gas-powered garden tools, but now state regulators are concerned about the impacts these tools could be having on the environment.

Wind and solar! BOOM!
I assume this will include all the sports stadiums too?
Those Hollywood mansion illegal yardmen are going to require extra, extra, extra long extension cords.
Give them up? By what right does a state do this? After this, what? The goal is to destroy this country.
Does this include mowers????
Good Grief....
No more Mexican flyrods?
By doing away with forest management, California aided in creating a great environment.......for forest fires....
What will all the Mexican bagpipe players do??
Mexicans will revolt!..................
Registration/licensing of blowers, mowers, trimmers, chainsaws etc to commence just before the order to turn them all in or have swat teams called in for forced confiscation./S
Ban leaf blowers altogether whether electric or gas powered. They blow the homeowners crap in the street/drains and make a lot of noise pollution.
No need for a long extension cord. Just get a portable gasoline powered generator with a short extension cord.
I’m not at all worried about this becoming law.
Not even in CA.
Maybe especially in CA.
17.8 million private, single family homes. THOUSANDS OF GOLF COURSES.
Not to mention a million miles of roads, and landscaped on/off ramps.
I’ll miss hearing the Mexican bagpipes.
José will be forced to use an old-school push mower?
THAT’S RAAAAAAAAACIST!
Why doesnt anyone ask about the number of birds killed by the wind power generators in California and the rest of the US. EPA passed laws to protect birds and these slice-o-matics are killing every kind of bird by the thousands. Bats are really getting hit hard according to some on site reports from a friend who has access to the areas.
The place becomes a food buffet to the buzzards and ground critters who eat the dead critters. Heck, even buzzards are protected and get killed.
Round up all the homeless crapping on the street, hook them up to a plow instead of using a roto tiller. They can fertilize as they go.
Twofer!
“Does this include mowers????”
We need to find out who owns the power cord company and buy stock in it.
