"Lets hope they are busy trading information regarding crimes of high level Politicians for a better prison or reduced sentences."

In Raniere's case, the judge's order says, "The pre-sentence investigation report for Mr. Raniere has not yet been finalized." That's a report compiled by Federal probation officers for the sentencing judge. The reports contain interviews with the convict and victims, victim statements, and an assessment of what kind of sentence would be appropriate. The judge considers this report when determining the sentence and conditions.

This probably means Raniere's report is YUGE. They've taken about six months writing it when it usually only takes a month or two.

Clare Bronfman's sentencing got delayed once while the report was being written, and the judge has indicated he is considering a longer sentence, probably based on the volume and content of the victim statements.

As for Allison, Nancy, and Lauren, this *might* indicate cooperation on their part seeing as how they haven't been scheduled at all for sentencing. Lauren was cooperative at the the trial. Neither Nancy nor Allison were called to the stand.

As for Keith, Kathy, and Clare Bear, I think their goose is cooked. The judge is NOT obliged to stick to the terms in the ladies' plea agreements.

I'm still holding out hope that Sara Bronfman-Igtet will be extradited from her hidey-hole in France for her crimes.

Lots of information is very good for other prosecutions if any other prosecutors are interested. (Hopefully fed!)

The French were not too quick to return Ira Einhorn after his murder of Holly Maddux. (Note the Bronfman connection to him! Money buys protection I suppose!)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ira_Einhorn

On September 9, 1977, Maddux returned to the Philadelphia apartment she had previously shared with Einhorn to collect her belongings (which Einhorn had reportedly threatened to throw out into the street as trash) and was never seen again. Several weeks later, the Philadelphia police questioned Einhorn about her disappearance. He claimed that Maddux had gone out to the neighborhood co-op to buy some tofu and sprouts, and never returned.

(Snip...) Throughout Ira Einhorn's fugitive flight he was supported by the wealthy Bronfman family and others who seemed indifferent to his murder of his ex-girlfriend and sympathy for him despite not personally knowing him.

In 1997, Einhorn was arrested in Champagne-Mouton, France, where he had been living under the name "Eugène Mallon". The extradition process, however, proved more complex than initially envisioned. Under the extradition treaty between France and the US, either country may refuse extradition under certain circumstances, and Einhorn used multiple avenues to avoid extradition.
