MEAT LOAF Says There Is No Climate Change, Calls GRETA THUNBERG 'Brainwashed'
Blabbermouth ^ | January 2, 2019 | N/A

Legendary singer Meat Loaf has accused teenage climate-change activist Greta Thunberg of being "brainwashed," saying he believes there is no such thing as climate change.

"I feel for that Greta," he told U.K.'s Daily Mail. "She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn't.

"She hasn't done anything wrong but she's been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true."

The rocker, who campaigned with Mitt Romney in 2012 and worked with Donald Trump on "The Apprentice" back in 2010, previously claimed that he lost a few gigs thanks to politics.

"I've been banned from two TV shows," he told Esquire in a 2012 interview. "Because USA Today has me listed as a Republican.

"I've heard those stories," he added "But I didn't really believe they'd do that."

The musician also said his political views were complicated. "I'm neither right nor left, and I'm not sure I'm even in the middle," he said. "I have a lot of views to the left, and I have a lot of views to the right, and that really doesn't put me in the middle. I don't know what that makes me. It makes me weird."

Thunberg has gained international media attention in recent months for her outspoken activism on climate change, including delivering an impassioned speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit calling out world leaders for not responding to the climate crisis with more urgency.

President Trump, who has repeatedly voiced skepticism about climate change, shared video of Thunberg's speech on Twitter, and above it wrote, sarcastically, that "she seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

Your post 52. I completely agree.

What about “Dark Side of the Moon”?!
I guess they just couldn’t squeeze that masterpiece in, what with Billy..Joel... And that last one listed, I don’t even know what that one is.

Yeah, really.

Thriller??

Pfft.

As an aside from, Bat Out Of Hell is on my list of ten songs most likely to get me a speeding ticket.

Radar Love and heavy Metal [Takin’ A Ride”] by Don Felder are two others.

They come up on my playlist and I have no control.

That throttle just rolls on its own.

[if it happens downtown with cops everywhere, it. is. hell. to. suppress]

:)

Yea, but you know da rulez about sticking to the headline as written.

Yeah. I know the rule about headlines. But it's been a long time since I've gotten to hit the abuse button on anything.

Come to think of it, I haven't been able to play grammar nazi or spelling nazi in a long time, either.

I didn’t vote for Mittens.

I voted against the devil.

There was no other choice.

Lol! I understand very well!

Sadly, I cannot listen to Radar Love.
When my stepson was 4 years old, he LOVED that song. He would go to town, jamming and singing along. Unfortunately he had a small lisp. It would come out WADAH WUB...I couldn’t concentrate on the song..””oooh,oooh Wadah Wub!! Pay it wowder!!”

You know I had to look up Cracked Rear View. Now I remember.

What a fascinating top 10.

The Eagle have 2?!! Wow.

I was born in ‘68 so they’re definitely not before my time but I never knew they were that popular.

I know nothing about country music but there probably is a huge fan base to tap into.

Interesting. Thanks.

Loaf was the first 8 Track Cartridge I ever listened to :)

Yeah, they did.

Things have come full circle and exposed belts and chains are a fad, again.

They make me nervous just to look at them.
