I will say this, at least in New York, Garrett would be able to choose his assistant coaches and player personnel.

It would be interesting to see how he really is as a coach, rather than as a “puppet”.

And make no mistake, the next Cowboys’ head coach will also be a “puppet”.

I don’t think NYG head coaches have much control over player personnel decisions. This was one of the major reasons why Bill Parcells left back in the early 1990s.
