So, this has become an annual thread. Each year I hope to find that special someone and each year, around this time, I realize that I may have to wait another year.
But, I can't complain. Life is good. I made a sweet potato pie from scratch and will share it with the family tomorrow at our Christmas dinner. I'm 59 years-old and have been blessed to have spent every Christmas with my parents? How many people can say that?
But, tonight it's just me, George Bailey on Bluray, some beautiful sacred Christmas music on SiriusXM Holiday Pops and a nice bottle of red wine.
How about you? Anyone else solo this Christmas Eve?
Thank you!

It was a privilege to be a part of it....ladino Israelis I worked with in hatton garden

Some parts of Brooklyn we used to drive around just to see astounding Christmas and Chanukah lights and decorations.
Then we went home to our cheap ones lol
I don’t know what I was trying to say. it was nit as it came out. I had a lovely day....visits from friends. Merry Christmas!
I was born in Rochester, NY, but moved away in 1972. Rome Hospital is still here. Had four abdominal surgeries there from 2010-2015. I had great surgeons, and excellent treatment at that hospital. It’s about 10-12 minutes away.I live right down the street from the old airbase. Most of it is a business park now, but we still get military aircraft landing at the airport, and the northeastern region of NORAD is located here.
really a wonderful time of my life as I grew up in the Binghamton area and most of my family still live there......
no matter where one ends up, its those home days we remember and wish to emulate....but none of us can do that....
so we try to be happy and productive where ever God plants us....
God bless us everyone.....
And live from South Florida it’s the keyhopper.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas skooz.
I actually spend the Eve with everyone and don’t mind being alone on the Day and watching Christmas movies after church and eating leftover seafood :)
And Larry isn’t alone. He’s out taking care of contracts for the Gambinos. Everyone knows it Larry so give up the charade
:) JK! I think!
And no one is ever alone as long as there is a FR!!
Merry Christmas All!!
Yeah we have a few laughs here and sometimes at each other’s expense :), but whatever part of the country we are from, whatever our backgrounds, we ALL Love America, Love our President, Love God and know he’s Boss of all Bosses and are thankful for FR.
Merry Christmas!
I’m a carpenter. I could lay a 2x4 across the ditch to keep you dry when the weather is bad.
Katherine Jenkins - Sacred Arias and she’s prettier ...
I’d just sell it for hookers and crack.
I might as well be alone as I am the caregiver for my 99 y0 mother with Alzheimers.
I canceled a trip to my daughters house for Christmas as things haven’t been going well and it was a long trip with my mother completely unaware of who we are or what day it will be. So we will have something to eat together on Christmas, not the big turkey dinner or anything, but it doesn’t matter. I’m doing the right thing, paying it back.
It’s all good. Merry Christmas to all.
