Best snickers I ever bought were “Sketchers Sport”.
Most comfortable, most durable. Comparable to my 1977 Chevy Malibu V8-Automatic, I could not wear it out, Never needed a single repair for 150k miles, but Chicago salt on roads took it’s toll and it began to look ugly after 8 years, so had to buy a new replacement.

I don’t know the politics of New Balance owner Jim Davis, but I do know his dedication to employing Americans as much as possible in his stateside plants in MA and ME. While NB went offshore, without which they couldn’t possibly compete, it has maintained that commitment, albeit limited, to U.S. production.

By not only maintaining jobs in the U.S., NB has also kept a hand in production, which has informed its engineering, NB’s strength.
