The thing is that even though Tombstone was GREAT, NO ONE who REMOTELY knew Wyatt or knew of him said he would EVER dance in the street or make some bitch face holding out his bloody hands even IF his own BROTHER was shot.

He wouldn’t have talked like a little girl about room service and traveling the world to Maddy...

He was MUCH more LIKABLE in tombstone, Earp’s character was.

He just wasn’t very true to life.

But Vil Kilmer’s Doc Holliday was an epic performance. He deserved on Oscar for that portrayal.

Just watched “DAY OF THE GUN”. James Garner played Wyatt Earp and was portraid as exactly how the whole Ike Clanton thing went down.John Voit debuted in this movie, Jason Robards played doc Holiday.
