Michelle Obama showed off an easy, breezy style today during a trip to Vietnam, where she is raising awareness about the importance of educating adolescent girls.
The former first lady wore a pale pink set consisting of a crewneck blouse, harem pants and a printed cardigan today at Can Giuoc, a high school in Vietnam’s Long An province.
Obama kept the pink theme going with her footwear but added a metallic twist, choosing rose gold espadrilles from Sophia Webster.
The slip-ons have a leather upper, a braided sole and a round toe. Sophia Webster’s signature butterfly accents the upper, with one wing embroidered across each shoe. Saksfifthavenue.com has the casual slides in stock for $325.

We now have the most Elegant, Charming, Accomplished and Fashion Conscious First Lady in our History and the fashion writers and journalists never give her the attention she rightfully deserves......
Michelle Obama will ALWAYS be the “BEFORE” picture, I don’t care how hard they try to convince us she’s an “AFTER”!
Note here her shirt sleeves are cuffed to meet her waist line...simple things like that make a difference in how you pull off a look...and the size of her bag, not just the color, pulls it all together....as well as the open neckline accentuates her exposed arms and foot area.
Now that she, (in her mind) is finally acceptd among the elites, for her it is about the AFTER.
...and that’s her personal hell. No matter WHAT she wears, says, or buys she will NEVER be an after. LOOK at her. Her choices, the way she wears her clothes, the way she stands, walks and talks. It truly IS like putting lipstick on a pig. And CLASS is something that cannot be bought. I don’t care how much money you have. I think she has a BAD case of ENTITLEMENT. She thinks it’s all hers for she deserves it, in her own mind.

Definitely perfect. All the time. I never knew all the ins-and-outs of pulling everything together, but when you point it out it makes sense.
I dressed women...so you better know what your doing. Thus you have a good reputation when woman are looking for the perfect outfit or gown...and its comical as once they discover you they will NOT tell their friends who helped them!
Best advice I can give is ‘stand back’ away from your dressing mirror. See your entire body...always pull up your sleeves, and don’t be afraid to cuff your pants. This applys to all size women.... it’s called ‘flair’.
FLOTUS likes shirts If you notice.....and there’s good reason to like them regardless of your size.

All interesting stuff! Before I retired and was more focused on my clothing I would do all these things. Now I just thank God every day that those details can be out of my head.
