Apparently the writer thinks “bad boys” and assertive men are the same thing. What an idiot.
Women are attracted to men who are assertive and dominant because those are hallmarks of masculinity.
I can only speak for myself, of course.
I prefer confident, focused men, who are reserved and observant. Men who are always bloviating/bragging/posturing really turn me off.
I like the quietly strong man, who listens before trying to dominate. And, a sense of humor about the human foibles and condition gets me every time, particularly if it isn’t unkind.
