On Friday’s “PBS NewsHour,” New York Times columnist David Brooks argued 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden had “one of the best weeks of the campaign” and Biden’s confrontation with a voter in Iowa “showed vigor, showed toughness,” and gave Biden control of the news cycle.
Brooks stated, “I do think Joe Biden had a — one of the best weeks of the campaign. He had an ad mocking…President Trump…and then he went after that voter. Which I think showed vigor, showed toughness, showed he’s doing well, and I think also allowed him to control the news cycle, which he hasn’t done for a long time.”

Vigor? More like Viagra. Corn Pop is shaking in his boots.
It shows a demented old man who blows up when he’s challenged on anything. Totally inappropriate behavior, especially for someone who wants to be President. So ... what would he do if a leader like Putin asked him a question he didn’t like ... challenge him to pushups? Tell him he’ll take him behind the building and beat him up? Call him fat or something else ridiculous? Or maybe a little nibbling on Putin’s fingers would work ....

All of this missing the most important point: How sharp is the crease in Biden’s pants?
Soon there will be a recording of Biden yelling at someone to get off his lawn.
The liberal media did the same thing with Hillary, when she collapsed at the 9/11 event or went into a coughing fit during a speech they would write stories about how it just made her appear more “human” and voters loved that sort of stuff.
And if you or I showed the same “vigor and toughness”, we’d be arrested and/or committed.
Brooks is a pathetic spin doctor. It does not make Biden look tough to challenge an 83 year-old to tests of strength, and channel Anthony Quinn’s circus character in “La Strada”. No, it makes him look like a mean thug dodging the truth by changing the subject to something trivial he can wrap his tiny brain around. Hunter Biden served as a bagman for daddy’s sale of office operation. Biden & Brooks should go on the amateur wrestling circuit.
I can only imagine what it would have shown had Trump did it.
Brooks is a wonderful contrarian indicator. Whatever he says, the opposite is usually true. If he says someone had a great week, they likely had a terrible week. And vice-versa.
It showed that he is a senile, old coot still living in 1958.
But if Trump did it ...impeach.....hater.....violent.....
