The wall should be the fundamental basis of border security with tech augmentation like motion sensors, sound discriminators and quick reaction teams to monitor and respond.

I’ve read there are things like vibration detectors because when Dems were bragging that illegals cut through the wall “easily”, others noted that portion of the wall did not yet have technology installed to detect such actions.

What don’t liberals understand about common sense?
Walls/fences SLOW DOWN anyone trying to pass them. They don’t HAVE to be impervious, they just need to slow the efforts. This is why they’ve been used for centuries in warfare as well as in every-day issues.
Slow them - easier to spy and catch.
And that’s why also need to shoot on sight. Or get a moat with sharks with bees in their mouths.
