Let’s face it, eventually all those dead sheep will probably be dumped into the deep water anyway. A sad existence for those still alive, though.
There would still be uses for the by products, the tallow and the lanolin, but who’s going to pay for all the dredging, cleaning and the prepping before the carcass can be harvested? Not many, I would suppose.

Not a a fan of vegans and other “animals are people too” types. But neither am I a fan of allowing gratuitous cruelty or causing unnecessary suffering on the part of animals. Those sheep that are still alive are likely hurt and or terrified. Rescue them or put them out of their misery.
