Utah Senator Mitt Romney argued that flavored e-cigarettes and vaping juices like “unicorn poop” should be banned because of their attractiveness to children.
President Donald Trump hosted a lively discussion at the White House about the benefits and dangers of vaping flavors. The president spent over an hour listening to supporters for banning vaping flavors as well as vape industry advocates who have sharply criticized the president’s proposed ban.
Senator Mitt Romney participated in the discussion in support of a ban on flavored vaping. He argued that most adults were not using vape flavors, earning a strong reaction from vape industry supporters who disagreed.
Romney noted that flavors like “unicorn poop” were branded that way to appeal to children.
“Utah is a Mormon state, and half the kids in high school are vaping,’ he warned.
The president, who has clearly been listening to vaping advocates in recent weeks, warned that prohibition could only force people to seek out vaping juices off the street.
“They could be selling something on a street corner that could be horrible… they are going to have a flavor that is poison,” he said.

Not tobacco, only flavorings to mimic the taste.

If he was trying to jump on the Trump-bans-vaping bandwagon, he missed it. It changed direction a few days ago, after someone got through with the information about the economic impact in key states.
Like balance the budget (if there was one), protecting our borders from invasion and providing for a common defense instead of a bureaucratic run oligarch.

when seeking children for his personal secret abuse.
You have to have some kind of magic underwear or something to catch unicorn poop.
Can’t stand Romney but he does have a point. Probably not a bad idea to ban an addictive product aimed at underage kids the same way bubble gum fake cigs were banned to discourage kids from starting in the first place.
Tobacco has some positive medicinal purposes and I doubt the occasional cigar is going to do much damage but daily smoking of cigarettes definitely does damage. More so in some than others for some unknown reason.
Getting another generation hooked on tobacco and pot oil products doesn’t seem like a good thing to me. JMHO.

I’m sure the same thing can and in the case of alcohol was said long ago about banning harmful substances. I guess that would include guns too?? How about high horsepower cars?? Oreo’s. All refined sugar products? At some point, a society has to say people need take charge of their lives and in the case of children, parents need to take responsibility for raising them.
Such ignorance.
Vaping produces no “smoke” and I’m sure you’d prefer that young mother be puffing on a Phillip Morris branded cigarette in the company of her children.
Or maybe you’d like the government to take her children away for the crime of looking stupid to you?

They now have the airwaves with these commercials about how DANGEROUS the second hand smoke is from vaping OMG people are REALLY this stupid how in the HELL can steam, water vapor second hand be dangerous!!! How in the HELL can people make these commercials and OUT RIGHT LIE this way creating hysteria!!!
Boomer when in the HELL does it become the parents responsibility to PARENT their children I am SICK TO DEATH of the government NANNY STATE!!! Our government has become a BEAST and every damn day we want THEM to take care of ANOTHER damn problem!! How about WE be responsible for our own well being the way this county USED TO BE!!!
Ignorant. Vaping has been a MIRACLE for millions of us who smoked for decades. Bet you were bitching about smoking too. My children cheer loudly about my vaping.

Vaping pens have been a miracle for me I smoked for 25 years and vaping got me off cigarettes OMG no smell, no nasty yellow film on everything in the house, no smell on clothes, no burning anything I am THRILLED!!! I changed EVERYTHING in my house repainted, new drapes, furniture, NEW EVERYTHING now when I clean the windows, mirrors, walls NO YELLOW FILM anywhere!!! Yes vaping is a MIRACLE and these bastards are creating hysteria for NO REASON!!! It was already proven that these kids were vaping products they mixed themselves WITH THC oil NOT products purchased in a vape shop!!!

It’s Unicorn Farts you dope. Not Poop. Out of all the issues, he picks vaping, probably because no one else wanted it. It’s not a problem with vaping. It is a problem with black market THC vaping where vitamin E acetate is added to the mix. Synthetic marijuana, now synthetic marijuana through vaping, are causing havoc on brains and lungs.
