Another interesting difference was in their concepts of libido. Jung was often critical of Freud's tendency to attribute so much to the simple, biological sexual drive. Jung saw libido as a larger 'energy' encompassing much more.

Freud has always seemed to me (as uneducated as I am) to be much more materialistically oriented than Jung. Jung wanted to go beyond the material and explore every possible influence that has made us Human as opposed to merely Animal.

Here's a link to Century of the Self, a 4 hour documentary about Freud and his nephew and how their ideas were used to develop political propaganda, among other things.

Long but very well done. I wish it was required study in our school system.
