Many buildings constructed in that time period would have had a Fallout Shelter under the main part of the structure.
It would more interesting to open up that school's Fallout Shelter to see what is down there.
Just seems shameful that no one even bothered to try to identify those Americans buried there.
Thanks fieldmarshaldj. There are burial grounds filled with Paupers all over the world, that Pauper family must have the worst luck. Also, each time in my life I've gone to a monument company, there have been a bunch of new gravestones for various members of the Sample fmaily. Poor bastards. Must be an accident in the family van, or an epidemic or somethin'.
Watch a couple of episodes of “Time Team” the British archeology series. They use geo-physics to get images of what is under the soil surface in order to plan where to dig their explatory trenches. Here is one of the episodes that shows it at work — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9kUAJCsJ-A
In Denver, lookup Cheeseman park. Once a large cemetery. Some bodies never got moved.
Shakespeare said it best. All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages.
You got that right. I see my great grandmothers grave. She passed away a long time ago. My relative who was a young girl who took care of of great grandmother in her last days is now herself an old woman with white hair. A few more years and no one will remember great grandmother, all her activities and doings upon the earth.
“There are now several houses built over this old cemetery and none of them know what lies below their homes...”
Gonna be real fun when someone digs a basement or puts in a pool.
There were multiple epidemics in Chicago before they reversed the flow of the River. Literally thousands of unmarked graves are out there.

fore sure?
Texas slang of “for”.
LOL..... Okay
San Saba High School’s football field is called ‘The Graveyard’ for good reason (TX).
The Sample family's most famous member..............
Too bad there was never a movie scene set in a monument company office, with him as the proprietor. :^)
I read an article about him as a person, and saw a ‘reunion’ show on CMT many years after his death.
Seem like he wasn’t ‘acting’..................
