Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will miss the remainder of this season after suffering a dislocated right hip Saturday in the 38-7 win over Mississippi State, sources confirmed to ESPN's Chris Low.

LOL “he clearly looked healthy to play”...sounds like he’ll be a witness for Schiff next week...
Jones should’ve been a 2nd round pick and had a long NFL career- Saban ended that possibility for allowing him to play with a lis franc injury...keep making excuses...
And Miami tanked for him!
it was...but then as people began to worry about Tua it came down to around 17 depending on your bookie.
Some people would have bet at at the 25 area
And yes, Coaches are very aware of the Spread
Btw, OSU had a spread of over 50. My sports betting app wasn’t even taking most bets on it.
OSU did not cover the spread.
Duffel Bag boy lost his bet on this one. He always bets against Rutgers. Flies into Vegas from NJ.
I may be wrong about this one. He might have bet the first half and OSU did cover that...and then they took their starters out.
My bookie didn’t offer the first half. I tried to bet it.
got it...granted coaches are not making decisions based on point spreads but if the bookies knew something was up with Tua, who could barely walk after last weeks loss to LSU, its further proof Saban is guilty of leaving him in to long with the score 35-7.
Hindsight is so perfect. Every player risks injury in every play. Tua is a competitor and convinced Saban to let him stay in. I don’t think Saban is to blame. I don’t think Tua is to blame. Injuries happen.
Your concern for Tuas health is touching.
Oh they absolutely do make decisions based on the spread. At least in the NFL and NBA. Likely College as well. It boosts their image and ranking.
i don’t think Tua is to blame...Saban is definitely to blame...
if Tua “convinced” saban to let him remain in the game despite a 28 point lead and an ankle he could barely walk on the prior week, then saban is a bigger moron than i thought when it comes to letting injured players get on the field...
Saban though the eye candy was more important than all those things you mentioned.
Don’t remind me. It’s another in a huge pile of stupid at TT. (They didn’t offer him a scholarship.)
Saban has nothing but selfish interests...///
Yep he shouldn’t have been playing against LSU and certainly not MSU.
btw- did you watch the Minnesota-Iowa game?? Minnesota was on a last minute drive which they needed to get into the end zone...their QB Tanner Morgan went down with an injury but begged head coach PJ Fleck to stay in the game...Fleck said “no”, Morgan continued to argue and the ass’t coaches had to pull the QB away and explain why he could not return to the field right away...
“Saturday night in the Miami-Florida game, the Gators were ahead 23-3 and had the ball on the Hurricanes’ 12-yard line with less than a minute on the clock. The game was over and it was time to run the clock out like every decent football coach does on a regular basis. Urban Meyer, Florida’s football coach, couldn’t do that.”
My heart just breaks for this kid. He is such a good kid, and has been very outspoken about his faith. Prayers for him
Who said their season is over????
Prayers up.
Once the injury timeout was called, Morgan had to leave the game for one play. That’s the rule. He was back in for the next play.
