Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley defended President Trump as "truthful" and said she never questioned the president's fitness for office during a combative interview with Today's Savannah Guthrie.
Haley, 47, has been defending the president on her media tour to promote her new book, With All Due Respect: Defending America with Grit and Grace, which was published on Tuesday. "I am way over time, but let me just quickly, because it’s been out there and you worked in this administration. Did you ever have any doubt about the fitness of this president?" Guthrie asked Tuesday morning. Haley, who alleged former chief of staff John Kelly and former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had tried to usurp the president, responded, "I never did," adding that she never doubted his mental acuity.

Sorry, Haley is Little Marco in a dress. Says some good things when it doesn’t matter and is AWOL when we really need her. Kelly and Tillerson are gone. Attacking them is pointless. The GOP Senate has obstructed POTUS and enabled the ongoing Deep State coup far more than they ever did. Yet “Ms. MAGA” doesn’t have word to say about that. Now why could that be?

Substance is gathering facts in a timely manner. Subpoenaing witnesses and documents. Criminally charging coupists.
Haley can flap her gums and sell as many books as she wants. Whatever she says now about long gone administration figures isn’t going to change the beltway calculus one bit.
Being the former governor of SC she is in prime position to hammer do-nothing Lindsay Graham. Is she? Nope. It’s all theater from Haley. Nothing more.
Why is she kissing his butt now, and why did she not see fit to inform him of the conspiracy?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a false claim and a misleading claim are not even close to being the same thing. Also I wonder how many false of misleading claims the Post made in the past 1,000 days

I cannot for the life of me understand the vitriol leveled against her. She backed a different candidate in the primaries. So what?!
Since joining this president, she has been loyal, advanced the president’s agenda faithfully, performed well, shown resilience and resolve, made a difference. She has not defended every statement or action he has made, but I do not recall even one instance where she spoke up against him. Where she does not approve, she seems to demur. I think this is good for her, of course, but it is also good for the President. She comes across as loyal without seeming to be a sycophant.
I like her a lot a lot a lot a lot.
