We are entering a mini ice age. Grand Solar Minimum.
Baby, it’s cold outside...
Here in the Colorado Rockies it got down to 8F last night with 2 inches of snow.
Mighty cold here in Minneapolistan today.
What, no Arctic Storm name? The weather hysteria folks are slipping.
Impossible!, It looks more like Fallout from Man Made Global Warming.
Colorado, Denver metro area: 71 degrees yesterday, 14 degrees this morning.... still hasn’t warmed above freezing today. Tomorrow is supposed to be 58 degrees.
Figure that it will kill the bugs so I don’t complain.
6 inches today in S.E. Michigan with more expected tonight........Most snow I have seen at this time in November in years..............
I’ve been bidding my time, nice to welcome back the cold weather.
Deep freeze? Like we’ve never had cold weather in mid November here in New York State. These people are ridiculous, they act like it doesn’t get cold this time of year. We’ve had snow storms on Halloween, and on Mother’s Day.
Its interesting how when we had the heat of September, it was global warming at work. When we have deep winter in November, not a word about global cooling or detraction from global warming. Temperatures count for warming, not for any alternative.
I live in northwest Indiana, half way between Chicago and Indianapolis. This is our 2nd snow of the season, we got about 2 inches 3 weeks ago. So far we have 3 inches on the ground and it is 25 degrees at 5pm CST. Overnight low is to be around 12 degrees. South Bend, IN, about 80 miles N-E of me is in the Lake Michigan snow belt and forecast to get 8-12 inches. No panic here, just watching it snow.
This reminds me of the Veterans Day snow when I was in Washington, DC, in Nov, 1987. I lived near Andrews AFB and we got 16 inches that day. The Federal gov’t was closed for a couple of days in order to clear the roads and metro. The following July, Andrews AFB hospital had a baby boom.
Was listening to a Burlington,Vermont station a couple of hours ago and they were predicting 8 inches of snow tonight and several more inches tomorrow.
Bump
Reached 82F here in Vegas today.
That global warming better end before they all freeze to death.
34-67 and sunny in Reno.
Looks like by Wednesday - west of the Mississippi will be above freezing, while east of the river many places are gonna struggle to make it to freezing.
We’re supposed to get the year’s first snow tonight in eastern TN. A few hours of “wintry mix” (I hate wintry mix), and some snow, with temps in the high 20s and low 30s. Not ideal for road conditions.
My millennial friend (pastor) told me today that global warming causes both the cold and warm extremes. (As we will be dealing with a cold shocker tonight in the upper midwest) I think she has been brainwashed. Too bad.
