The Deep State - let me sum it up for y'all (4th vanity since 1998)

There is a “deep state” who runs America.

We didn’t vote for them.

They took power through threat of prosecution.

They control the congress and the Judiciary and the presidency up until 2016.

You tell me. What happens next?

Term limit the bureaucracy... NOT elected officials.

We used to have that back in Andy Jackson's day. The incoming president could clean house and not be stopped by civil service regulations.

What's needed is

1) Eliminate civil service protections. Let the president and his cabinet secretaries fire as they please, and

2) Limit Senate approval to just the cabinet secretaries, and maybe the first-level under-secretaries. Let the secretary hire whom he pleases.

There really are only variations on four options:

1. things muddle along with the Deep State remaining in place, with more or less power and control over the policy and wealth of America, depending on events and the political winds that blow;

2. Strong anti-deep state majorities are elected and finally Eisenhower’s and Truman’s warnings are heeded by the government and the permanent bureaucracy is dramatically weakened, to the point that a free Republic may exist with it;

3. The Deep State takes total control, instituting a true Leftist dictatorship (with odd American artifacts probably remaining in some form) where there is one party rule, even if a nominal opposition, totally neutered, party exists as a permanent minority.

4. Civil War eventually breaks out between nationalists/conservatives and the Left/DeepState

Some variant of these four options. I suspect #1 will occur until one side or the other develops a real advantage...then that side will go for broke.

Civil service laws are redone, if not eventually these deep state goons will piss the people off with their dual track justice system and special perks of being a bureaucrat. You will get a civil war/revolution when the people tell the pigs that no, they are not more important than everybody else.

Then comes the choice, American Revolution or French Revolution. If the latter is the choice the bureaucrats are not going to be happy and you will see resignations posted like mad.

God these people must be miserable to deal with. They can’t be trusted in any aspect of life because they have already shown their word/oath isn’t worth bucket of goat piss.

Your solution is a lot better than what we have... but a compromise might be to rotate the people in DC to other Federal jobs in flyover when a new party takes over the capital...
